Why did Sen. McConnell take Sen. Cornyn with him to meet Wall St. execs??
In his weekly address yesterday, President Obama mentioned that Senator McConnell had met with the Wall Street bankers. "He made the cynical and deceptive assertion that reform would somehow enable future bailouts when he knows that it would do exactly the opposite," the President said.

The Republican Leader met with at least 24 Wall Street executives, according to reports. It was only after he met with them that he came out against the financial reform proposed by the Democrats.

But, a question that has not been asked is why did he take Senator Cornyn with him?? Could it be that it is because Senator Cornyn is in charge of the Senate Campaign Committee, in charge of raising money and getting Republicans elected? How much was promised to the Republicans to oppose this bill and which Wall Street executives met with McConnell and Cornyn? Wouldn't you like to know?

2. No Mystery...
Of course Cornyn had to be there...as probably was the RCCC vulture. They were there for the shakedown and since reform has all but passed in the House, the Senate is another "Waterloo"...and as Mitchy said "you scratch our backs, we'll take care of yours". The real endgame here is the GOOP retaking the Senate as it will assure absolute gridlock and the GOOP thinks they have a chance for that to happen, just gotta fatten the wallets first.

8.  I am surprised it is not obvious:
To catch a double header at the Polo Grounds, then a night game at Ebbets Field.
