Set up a conservative movement which bills itself stridently anti-communist (loosely based on "The Trust" of the Felix Dzerzhinsky era). Pay propagandists huge sums of money to make them look like capitalists. Co-opt opposition politicians by promising them power beyond their wildest dreams. Useful Idiots do the rest. Select a particularly incompetent and destructive president. After he is replaced by people who aren't crazy, undermine him.......
