2. Doubtful even the Idaho repukes want anything to do with him
from the 2007 Idaho Statesman:

During his 2001 Boise mayor's run, Statesman columnist Dan Popkey branded Brown "a profane clown given to kookiness." This earned Popkey an expletive-laced voicemail from the candidate himself.

Ultimately, Brown garnered only 3 percent of the vote, finishing sixth in the seven-way race.

Brown also has run for Ada County Highway District commissioner and Congress. During previous campaigns, he brandished a notarized statement from a Kenyan cleric saying that God has ordained Brown to someday serve as president.

Not saying whack-jobs don't do swimmingly well with the voters here (see: Symms, Chenoweth, Sali), but this one won't stay afloat.

5. If he finished six out of seven, that means there is someone even nuttier.

3. Uh, I'm assuming the party Establishment is rallying around someone else?
Looks like he hasn't missed any trips to the buffet either.

4. Seems like a middle-of-the road, mainstream Republican Professional to me . . .
despite his having saved the souls of "Rainbow people."
