Meg Whitman seriously needs to STFU
OK I just saw a commercial where she claims that Steve Poizner is "way more liberal than he seems" like it's a bad thing. While I don't think either one of them is right for California, I just have to say that after the way that Republicans have been fucking this state up for the last 30 years (up to and including Ahnuld), is it really in our best interests to elect another rich, calculating conservative? :argh: :grr: :banghead:

1. k/r
Meg Whitman, Carly "Americans have no rights to jobs" Fiorina, and Steroids McMahon are the poster children for publicly financed campaigns.

2. is it possible for someone with that much money to STFU?
Every day, 5 times a day I hear her horrible commercials. she will shut up when she runs out of money, and that's never going to happen.

She's trying to by the governors seat. my only hope is that by election time people will be so fed up and burnt out with her they just won't vote.

3. They air her commercials in LA every 30 seconds it seems.
Yeah I definitely get the feeling that she's trying to buy the governor's seat the same way the Yankees bought the world series.

4. Hmmmm...:"just don't vote" doesn't sound like much of a solution to me.

Just sayin'

5. No it doesn't.
Whitman is practically running unopposed (we dont hear much from Steve Poizner or Jerry Brown) so it's basically you're damned if you do and damned if you dont.

6. I can't believe there aren't enough ebay sellers in California to vote AGAINST
Meg Whitman. She ruined the auction site for small business sellers.

8. Whitman is ahead in the polls by something like 3 points
which is cool until you know that so far she's spent close to $50 million and Brown has spent a bit over $600k, Poizner is an also ran, but at least he has some goverement experience and has actually voted in a few elections in the past.

She should keep paying for ads, most of the ads I've seen are from the "Reasons You Can't Trust Steve Poizner" series, a very classy move. They're really helping in getting her personality out there. she's about as charming as the average high level corporate drone is when they have to mix it up with us lower orders. I think that attitude keeps breaking through her market tested ads. Alpha girls kick ass!

here's an article from the Christian Science Monitor about campaign spending so far.

9. That ignorant bitchfuck twat
Never even registered to VOTE until a few years ago. And she has the UNMITIGATED AUDACITY to run for governor of the largest state in the union.

She's a festering pus-seeping boil deep-fried in a coating of her own shit.

11. For the sake of California, I pray that the folks there have a long memory.
The state cannot afford any more stupid people at the helm of the governorship.

And Meg Whitman belongs to the worst of the worst.

13. Ugh...
Know who's pissing me off? Steve Poizner.
His advertisements say "After Arnold, don't we deserve a
republican?"
Ohrlly? Arnold wasn't republican? Last time I checked he was.
And last time I checked he ran our state to the ground. We're
not so golden anymore...

Oh, and, Jerry Brown doesn't have any commercials because it's
only the primary elections,
and he's not running against any other democrats, so he can
save up all of his $$$ for when he really needs it, in the
final elections. When the primary elections are over, expect
Jerry to come out of nowhere and steal the polls! I do
however, have a great fear that Meg Whitman MIGHT be able to
buy her way in... let's hope not though.
