REPORT: Fox Newsers rally for GOP in more than 300 instances and in nearly every state
http://mediamatters.org/research/201004210012

In recent years, at least twenty Fox News personalities have endorsed, raised money, or campaigned for Republican candidates or causes, or against Democratic candidates or causes, in more than 300 instances and in at least 49 states. Republican parties and officials have routinely touted these personalities' affiliations with Fox News to sell and promote their events.

3. Free Advertising
If they were charging for all this, it would be in the 100's of millions.

4. Actually
I support an FCC rule that would force the big four networks and affiliates to give free commercial airtime to local, state and national candidates. To me, that would bring a good bit of balance to the playing field.

5. The worst of all of their rallying
was Sean Hannity as one of the main speakers at the Friends of America Rally in Holden, West Virginia, in September 2009. That rally was sponsored by and paid for in part by Don Blankenship of Massey Energy. Check it out at http://friendsofamericarally.com/

I'd like to see Fox News tied very tightly to Blankenship, especially if he is criminally charged.

8. When will the FCC and FEC look into this?
It is pretty clear that the news division is part of the Republican Party. The network is, in effect, donating hundreds of millions of dollars in FREE political advertising to the GOP.
