1. Me too, he was the only one I could stand until Keith came on. I was
thinking of him the other day and hope all is well with him. I miss him a lot.

7. Did you hear Chris Jansing a few minutes ago
She's in Iceland and went for a helicopter ride close to the volcano. Her Blackberry stopped working and she said she was thinking that if they crashed she'd be unable to contact anyone?
A working Blackberry would be low on my agenda if I were in a helicopter crash. I swear we're facing the pandemic stage of 'the stupid'.

16. Andrea Mitchell is a liar. She said she would recuse herself from Wall Street/Treasury matters
because of her husband......she said that about a year ago,
and she was all on the television today talking about
Wall Street Reforms. What's up with that? I don't trust her worth shit.
She threw up some lousy poll on the screen when she was interviewing Sen. Dodd,
saying Obama had 44% approval. No reference to what polls or nothing.
I hate these news assholes and their polls....

and yes, I miss Schuster....and that's a lot for me to say,
cause other than Rachel and most time Keith, the rest of them
suck bigtime!....but he was probably another of the most reasonable.
Perhaps that's why he's been got gone.

5. Suspended indefinitely
Edited on Wed Apr-21-10 02:58 PM by tishaLA
because he made a pilot for CNN behind MSNBCs back. MSNBC called it unethical and unprofessional, etc.

Oh sorry. You knew about the suspension. Funny thing is that Brian Seltser of the NYTimes says that KO had Danny Deutsch taken off the rest of the week because they did a segment about angry political commentators and one of the people they used, along with Limbaugh, O'Reilly, and Beck was KO. KO's been tweeting about it today

10. please write to Shuster's boss
His name is Phil Griffin. He hired David eight years ago. He suspended him. He reads and answers email. At this point, Shuster's career is being ruined by the suspension and MSNBC viewers are being punished, too. Why should the viewers be punished for network HR issues?

14. Cause He Violated A Contract...
One that paid him nicely and gave him national exposure. It'd be like a favorite player auditioning for your crosstown rival while still wearing your team's uniform.

While I like David, what he did was stupid and I support MSNBC's decision to suspend him. He's still getting paid nicely and soon his contract will expire and he can join CNN or whomever. After all Griffin has done for him...hired him and then promoted him through the ranks, Schuster's doing an audition for a major competitor is a definite insult and breach of contract.
