In the matter of 1 week, Republicans across America have pissed off
teachers, Hispanics, and women. WOW. Could these people be anymore fascist?

In Florida, the Republicans simply scapegoat the teachers by trying to tie their livelihood to a standardized test. In Ohio, the GOP calls for a Congresswoman to be put back into the kitchen. In Arizona, and the rest of America by extension, they have given Hispanics a reason to believe the GOP has no concern about true immigration reform.

Could these people be anymore arrogant, foolish, or some combination of the two?

1. This is why I laugh out loud literally when the media and the rest of
the gloom and doomers say that we're going to lose so many seats, etc. Any thinking, or even half-thinking person has to realize the repugs could care less about them. The Democrats have done more for Americans in the fifteen months of President Obama in the WH than repugs have done in eight plus years. Dems are going to do just fine, perhaps gain some seats. Only time will tell.

2. I'm with you. Historical comparisons simply don't work after Obama got elected
You can't talk about traditional historic trends when the first black President has just been elected. That broke the mold. It's a new normal now.

6. What pisses me off is the MSM doesn't call them on it. These crazies will get elected all because
we have a black president that they just down right hate. Come on democrats you need to vote in Nov. Not that the democrats are any better. At least they are trying to turn the clock back to the 40s and 50s.

10. A few months ago, I was so pissed at the Democrats that I was considering not voting
but I'm now back solidly on the "better than the other side" bus and will be voting straight Democratic ticket.

11. To be accurate,
Republicans aren't the only ones pissing off teachers, and tying our livelihood to standardized tests. Obama and Duncan are doing the same; that's how to compete for their "Race to the Top" grants: tying evaluation and/or pay to test scores. Every state will be doing something like that to be in the running for those dollars; most won't be as extreme (I hope.)
