Immigrants break the law to better their circumstances,
Edited on Sat Apr-24-10 10:16 AM by Klukie
companies break the law and hire them at reduced wages to increase their profitability....Citizens patronize said companies for cheap products.....Aren't we all complicit in some respect?

A better scenario....citizens hold companies to account by boycotting their products (which would help small businesses thrive) and in turn, companies will be forced to reduce profits by hiring for fair wages...and immigrants will be forced to return to their lands and demand accountability from their governments.

Yeah I know....my brother calls me a pie in the sky liberal.

6. Don't be pushed around
Write what you feel and leave it at that. There will always be somebody to whine about what you write, so at least keep it yours.

11. I don't get pushed around much....
I just felt the need to tread lightly in order for the point to be absorbed. I have seen too many good thoughts trashed for no other reason than offending someones sensibilites....sad but true.

8. Actually most of these anti immigrant nit wits are steeped in racism that reminds me of the old
south during the pre civil rights era. The illegals that take care of their lawns or clean their houses are ok but thats because its their illegals, its those other illegals they have a problem with, you know the trouble making types who dare question the laws or demand stuff. These same people btw are rather picky about who is to blame for the massive loss of jobs in their areas, they refuse to look at how factories were torn down boxed up and sent to places like China where slave wage labor is the norm.

Besides its easier to blame immigrants and enact laws against them then it is to do the same thing with rich corporations, which is really who they should be going after if they want to really stop job bleeding in the country. But then these are the same folks who are upset with poor people getting welfare yet never once do they complain about corporate welfare. These are bullies at their best who go after the weak like the cowards they are.

9. Agree, the real answer to illegal immigration is to hammer businesses that break employment law.
