How in the world does one close the boarders? All I've heard

How in the world does one close the boarders? All I've heard
for the past 2 decades is the feds must close our boarders. Noone ever says how they could ever do that! We have thousands of miles of boarders to the US. You cannot realisticaally build a fence & only have multiple accwess points. You can't have that many guards standing there to stop anyone. Wether it's a good or bad idea doesn't matter., What matters is all the people who have been acreaming for this for YEARS when there's no way I can think of to do it!
