1. Alicia Keys is hawt and an awesome singer. Prince is the musician of my generation...
And half my fam is from da burgh, so 'nuff said about his Imaculateness.

I don't really know much about the others, but if nikki says they rock, that's good enough for me!

2. There are lots of performers who are half Italian, like Springsteen and Madonna
Of course Italians and Blacks both have histories with great musical forms.

3. I think pretty nearly all black folks in America are mixed with some kind of white.....
so it's not really a unique thing. Unless *that* doesn't count, for some odd reason.
