Hotel hits back at Laura Bush 'poison' theory


A GERMAN hotel where then US president George W. Bush stayed in 2007 has angrily rejected claims by his wife Laura Bush of possible poisoning, accusing her of a publicity stunt for her memoirs.

"We see absolutely no evidence to support (these allegations) at all," said Christian Ploeger, a spokesman for the Fundus Group that owns the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm in northern Germany where the Bushes stayed for a G8 summit.

"The food was checked by security staff," Ploeger said.

"I suspect that this may be just to try and sell more copies of the book."

2. Yep.. It could be that he ate like a PIG while there and just happened to get sick
people DO get sick.. and with all the people in his entourage, it's not surprising that a bug would hit them all.

The people who "use" poison, know what they're doing.. if someone had wanted to poison him, he'd be the "late George W".

I mean, Bush farted, the "liberal media" fell over itself to cover it. If Bush had diarrhea on a trip, it would have been major news.

2007 ... was there any stories about him being sick in Germany?

Where's the instant debunking like the "liberal media" did for Hillary's claim "We were under fire ..."

I did find a brief mention of Bush bowing out of the last day of the G8 summit ... a small mention of a stomach ailment. Nothing about Laura being sick.

9. Alcohol poisoning, perhaps?????
I remember when he got sick, was reported as a bug at the time. Can you imagine what FOX Noise would have done if there was an inkling of poison??? I'm with the hotel...sounds like a publicity stunt.

17. So, when will the hotel release information on alcohol consumption?
You know there are still people there that either served that party or know of it.

The fallout from this will be swift and potentially, exceedingly embarrassing for the Bush family.
