2. Imagine what a waterspout over the slick would pick up and drop as dirty rain...

...over land.

I've lived on the eastern shore of mobile bay and experienced rain that smelled just like the bay. We assumed that it was bay water picked up by a waterspout and dropped as rain. We were maybe 1 - 2 miles linearly from the bay.

9. It's time for the Dems to play hardball on this

Put a video together of every Republican asshole shouting "drill baby drill" and then show video of cute little birds dying and destroyed coastline. Then throw in a reference to Bush and his Texas oil connections and oil businesses.

Finish it off with a message urging people to vote Democratic in 2010.

It's time to stop playing nice and kicking some ass.
