Sen. Mike Bennett Caught Looking at Porn on Senate Floor


No one will argue that sitting on the Senate floor during session can get a little boring, but looking at porn is probably not the best way to pass the time.

On Thursday morning, Sunshine State News captured exclusive video of Sen. Mike Bennett, R-Bradenton, looking at pornographic material on his state-issued computer on the Senate floor.

Ironically, as Bennett is viewing the material, you can hear a Senator Dan Gelber's voice in the background debating a controversial abortion bill.

"I'm against this bill," said Gelber, "because it disrespects too many women in the state of Florida."

7. When I watched the video, it didnt seem to be too big a deal to me.
Looks like it was in an email. I know Ive gotten an email from a friend that contained a naked pictures of somebody and I wasnt exactly expecting it. Id hardly call what he was doing Surfing porn.

I mean if you are going to take a risk looking at porn on the floor of the senate you may as well go for something racy

it probably was accidental, at least he wasn't goatse'd

still he should get back to work instead of looking at email attachments

It's just more hypocrisy by some guy who campaigns on his superior moral values of relegating women to reproductive slavery.

I hope all those churchy people who vote GOP are paying close attention.

or did the cameraman just see it and start rolling on it?

Cause if he just opened up an email someone sent him then he was hardly looking at porn. It makes a difference.

Course the guy sounds like a piece of work so why should I care if he gets railroaded...
