Was the NYC car bomb a retaliatory attack on South Park?
I just heard a comment about this on the radio. Someone said that the car was positioned very close to the Viacom center where the show is produced. Does anyone know anything more about this?

2. Not likely. It was near Viacom but not directly at Viacom
It was more likely a goober in a murderous rage against humanity that some religious fake on the net convinced him to direct against tourists in Times Square.

However, considering how completely he fucked everything else up, he could have fucked that up, too, and it could have been an attack on a building almost half a block away.

Maybe he was just pissed off at the symobol of the economy that ripped his life apart and the bomb was a parting gift for bankers and a nation of bankers.

The right wants this to be about Islam so they can feel more justified to hate Islam. But it just might be because the guy lost everything.

We should wait and see what comes out at trial.

5. No. It was on Broadway. I didn't know NYC HAD a south park.
Just kidding. And no, I don't think the proximity to the Comedy Central building had anything to do with it. The incompetence revealed by the device should negate that possibility.
