I am noticing this a lot amongst the few remaining Republican facebook friends I have, they rail against some perceived failing of the Obama Administration, cite some Politico or Rush piece and then say "even if it isn't true, this administration is the worst ever because of XYZ" How do you rebut an argument from people for whom facts have NO FECKING VALUE?!?!?!

1. You cannot have a real argument with someone that ignores

obvious facts - they are all over DU and posts and counter post until one side gives up or the thread gets locked. My advice - DON'T ARGUE WITH THEM. Just give them a knowing look and tsk tsk their asses until they stfu, which they will eventually.

Ask me how I know...

How do you know they'll ever STFU? I've seen the same people dragging up the same things month after month. Especially that one unforgivable whatever it was that happened 6 or 8 or 12 months ago.
