Fox 'News' Refuses Vet Group's Climate Legislation Ad; 'Too Confusing' Says Fake 'News' Channel

Hilarious. Fox "News" refuses to run the following:30 second ad --- which MSNBC and CNN have already been running without problem --- from VoteVets.org, on the grounds that it's "too confusing". "Too confusing"? The only thing too confusing about it for Fox "News" viewers, perhaps, is that it may not sync up with their spoon-fed Republican/Fossil Fuel Industry political propaganda programming. The ad might just blow their circuits or something…

1. People might get the impression
that our soldiers do not want to die for oil. Very confusing when you're told 24/7 that they're there to keep us "safe".

5. Fox knows its audience
Of course it's confusing - if you're a fucking moron. And Fox knows its viewers, so they know such an ad would confuse them.

Because . . . ? Anyone?

6. I am sorry, ClusterFox is correct. Its viewing audience is too stupid
to comprehend facts.

7. It might result in some cognitive dissonace, and they would find that very "confusing"....

The truth is in total conflict with most of the what is espoused by FAUX NOISE commentators and gobbled up unquestioningly by their devoted fans.

Cognitive dissonance is a state of mental discomfort that occurs when a person’s attitudes, thoughts, ideas or beliefs conflict. For example you may believe it’s important to diet in order to lose weight yet have the desire to order cheesecake for dessert. Eating the cheesecake would conflict with your attitude about dieting, which causes discomfort that needs to be resolved.

The theory of cognitive dissonances suggests that people are motivated to reduce dissonance by either changing or rationalizing attitudes and beliefs. It makes predictions for how and what we will decide to do as well as how we’ll feel about our decisions after.
