Keith Olbermann: Cheney's Katrina
Keith went into lots of details about how Halliburton was involved in poor cementing in 18/28 blowouts in the past few years, this includes the one last year off the coast of Australia..

He also mentioned Cheney's intimacy with the oil companies during his VPhood...and how many of the Clinton era drilling safeguards were reversed by pres shit-for-brains and his evil Veep.

I would love to see a lot more mentioning of Halliburton's and Cheney's role in the lessening of safety standards on offshore oil rigs.

5. KO's environmental org guest also said Secy Salazar should step down
On KO today, Kieran Suckling, head of Defenders of Wildlife, said Obama should ask Salazar to step down; Salazar is too close to the oil industry, and did not apparently conduct the appropriate environmental impact studies that would have prohibited BP's Deepwater Horizon project......

6. Bloomberg Radio expert also said Halliburton may be at fault
An expert on Bloomberg radio was discussing how Halliburton may be largely at fault for the Gulf oil disaster. It is all a matter of whether the pipe was properly installed with the right casing and the right placement of concrete to seal it.
