Obama Discovers Cancer Cure; Republicans Outraged

Breaking news from my over-active imagination ...


The AP reported early this morning that President Barack Obama has accidentally stumbled upon the cure for cancer. Republicans immediately responded with anger.

"Who does he think he is?" yelled Rush Limbaugh. "Scientists have been working on this for years and years, and Barack HUSSEIN Obama has the audacity to tell us HE has all the answers?"

Michael Steele sent out a fake census form: "Send us a check for $50, $100, or $200 and we will work to support your freedom to die from cancer without the interference of Democrats and their Socialist Marxist Fascist Big Government ideals."

John Cornyn whined, "The American people don't want a cure for cancer. The American people want jobs. We need to repeal this discovery immediately."

John Boehner was in a tanning booth and unavailable for comment.

And Glenn Beck drew on his chalkboard. "Look. If you take c.a.n.c.e.r and rearrange the letters, it spells raccen. Remove one "c" and the "n" and what do you have? Hm? Hm? I'm not drawing any conclusions here. I'm just telling you what to think."

You forgot the latest talking point: "What took Obama so long"...

Obama's panacea for cancer is a failure! A young boy in Zimbabwe has a rare cancer that Obama's cure does not work on. In fact, it may make it worse! So all this worshipping the head democrat for curing cancer is just so much bull. The FDA hasn't even approved it yet. The democrats will probably roll out Obama's solution to store spent nuclear fuel safely to divert attention away from the fact that his cancer cure is a failure. Nothing here. Move on.

Please, just don't turn it on me! I was impressed by the headline, but never expected that the rest would live up to the promise--and yet, it did. Very, very nice job, Lesleymo.:yourock:
