Former GOP Executive Facing Prison Sentence For CHILD PORN

Ah yes, the self-righteous, ' you are a sinner ' finger pointing, self anointed Christian GOP HYPOCRITES. Just another part of the close knit ' wide-stance ' republican turds.

" Shane Ostrowski, a former lobbyist and Republican political consultant, is expected to plead guilty this month to possession of child pornography.

The 39-year-old Bexley resident faces up to 10 years in prison for having more than 300 pornographic images. He is expected to plead guilty in federal court May 20 to a bill of information, a court process that allows him to avoid a grand-jury indictment.

Ostrowski's attorney, Ian Friedman, said the sentencing guidelines call for about six to seven years in prison.

"Shane has enough positive qualities, characteristics and life history that we're hopeful the sentence would be even lower than the guideline range," Friedman said.

Ostrowski was part of the Ohio team that the Republican Party sent to Florida to observe the presidential recount in 2000, was a regional field representative and political director for the Ohio GOP, ran Betty D. Montgomery's campaign for governor in 2006, and was executive director of the Virginia Republican Party.

He more recently worked as director of government affairs for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Ohio, but he was no longer employed there as of October.

Under the plea agreement, Ostrowski would forfeit all seized computers and would register as a sex offender in Ohio and any other state where that is required.

"Shane has accepted responsibility," Friedman said. "It is clear this appears to be aberrant behavior. There are countless people who know what has occurred who will still be standing in that courtroom to support him."

I despise them all. I've developed a bad habit lately. When ever there's a bad smell in a room somewhere, I'll make the statement, "Geesh, it stinks like a republican in here"! I'm very popular at parties these days...

Translation: Hey he's a republican big shot. They're generally regarded as above the law, so you need to go easy on the poor guy.
