The most dangerous body of water in the U.S. is a deep canal on the Mexican border with California where over 550 people, mostly illegal immigrants, have drowned. Scott Pelley reports.

1. The canal is relatively shallow between 10 and 50 feet

The danger comes from its swiftness and the fact that once you are in the canal it is very difficult to get out.

Dr. Hunter, who is featured in the video, is the brother of former Representative Hunter and the uncle of the current Rep.
