Proof that Rasmussen is full of shit -
When they polled Arizonans how they felt about the Paper's Please bill, they said 70% approved.

BUT when Arizona's own pollsters asked, the result was a bit different...still not great, but.....

A poll released Tuesday indicated that 52 percent of the public statewide supported Arizona's new immigration law, 39 percent opposed it and 9 percent were unsure. Republicans, Caucasians and those aged 55 and older were the strongest supporters, while Democrats and minorities were the strongest opponents.

4. Weren't the polls taken numerous days apart?
Seems to me that's more then enough time for a 20 pt swing, particularly after the boycott got cranked up.

5. Arizona does not have a particularly distinguished civil rights record, nor has it been the most
Progressive state

7. Not really proof of anything.
Other than showing that polls can produce different results depending on how a question is worded and presented.

But I always love DU's main criterion for judging a pollster: "Do I like the results?"

9. An 18 point difference is above the margin of error...but...whatever.
