no trips, nothing. I challenge others to do the same. Let's show ALL the oil companies that we mean business and demand that they stop trashing our environment.

I'm also calling my Congressfolk and the White House every day to demand that they be more aggressive in holding BP's feet to the fire and get this well capped.

1. Do you honestly think anyone is dragging their feet, trying to decide
whether they want the well capped or not? Seriously?

2. My nephew's friend got a new car from his parents -- a Land Rover. It was
all I could do to keep my mouth shut. By all means, you fucking idiots, buy your college kid a gas guzzler, don't worry about the planet or teaching him a lesson about filthy fuel.

3. Why not give up oil of any sort forever and really show them?

4. Nah
I'm going to continue enjoying driving my vehicle because I realize this is a useless gesture.

5. And as I posted the the other day
in a different thread on the same subject, there are over 4000 items made from petroleum products.

Are we ready to find out what those all are and cut down on, or eliminate, their use also?

What good is cutting down on only ONE of those products? I mean, it might make people feel good on a personal level, but what good does it do in the end?

6. It sends a message...
and also has the potential to lower prices at the pumps due to decreased demand.
