You're an American citizen and here are your rights

You can be detained and tortured for an indefinite period of time without counsel and without facing your accusers or ever having an actual trial IF you are declared to be an "enemy combatant" or domestic terrorist or something like that

You can be surveilled and wiretapped pretty much anytime

You can have your property seized and sold before you are ever convicted (if you are SUSPECTED of drug crimes)

You can have your property seized, condemned and sold by eminent domain to benefit another private property holder if your local or state government feels like doing so.

combatant and an enemy combatant is defined as anything junior or his heirs or assigns say it is. This is so straightforward that even a blind person can see, a deaf person can hear, and a fool, even an idiot, can understand: America, home of the mindless and gutless and not so free. :P

Not only not convicted, but not even really suspected. You don't even have to be charged. You do have to pay a bunch of fees and hire a lawyer if you want to get it back. Since in a lot of places the cops keep it (and in some they even split it with the prosecutor and the judge) you ain't gonna see it again.

And I've seen Democrats on this site and in elected offices defend every single one of the points you made, so this isn't entirely Bush's fault. (Not that you implied it was. Some of the comments have, though.)
