On my lunch hour, saw a Teabagger vehicle with slogans written all over the windows...

The prominent, and quite tattered, US flag on the back of the SUV was what first captured my attention. Odd that flag-wavers tend to have so little respect for the flag they claim to revere.

Anyway, the next thing I noticed was red slogans on every glass area of the SUV except the front windshield and driver's side window. The usual crap about socialism and whatnot.

And the kicker? Asshole was parked in front of one of the area's dodgier gun shops.

Do creatures like this even realize that when most people look at them, they only see a potential Unabomber or McVeigh? Do they have any clue how idiotic they look when festooning their vehicles in such fashion?

It's easily demonstrable that they are not.

Of course, since most of them have such small circles of acquaintance, they might believe their own bullshit about being a "mass movement".

But people like that are now empowered by polls that show the general public unhappy with the economy and, apparently, the direction of the country...not that our polls have ever shown the general public to know much of anything.

7. Yeah, the thing about that poll figure....
and the problem with polls in general is that they don't ask WHY people are unhappy with the economy and/or the political direction of the country. I know a large number of people who are unhappy because we aren't trending far enough LEFT.

The teabaggers need to know and acknowledge that fact. Sadly, they never will.

I'm complaining about his 1st Amendment rights? So, where in the Constitution does it say that I don't also have a 1st Amendment right to call this guy an idiot? How does my doing that amount to my having a problem with his 1st Amendment rights?

I didn't respond to the OP, I responded to the OP's subsequent post expressing some sort of amazement that the thread got some unrecs. I merely suggested a reason as to why that might have occurred.
