May 12, 2010 — The Deepwater Horizon Incident Response Center has released new video of the BP oil pipe leak at its source 5,000 feet down on the ocean floor.

1. Say what you will, but I don't believe it.
Anyone can make a video that looks legit and put it up. Perhaps this is the real thing, but this looks more like a city water pipe that broke. With the amount of oil we are seeing spread across the Gulf, I picture a much larger leak.

How about an independent source go down there with their cameras and film the thing, rather than the Deepwater Horizon Incident Response Center.

Maybe I'm overreacting; maybe not. But, I've learned to be very skeptical about these youtube videos.

PS - No offense to the OP; I'm not attacking the messenger.

Peace

3. Saw the video on ABC news and I don't think it looks good for BP.
To me I think their goose is cooked.

4. Everybody who was involved...
...and is currently passing the buck needs a legal and financial smackdown of epic proportions.

We had the same thing happen in the Gulf before, off Mexico's coast, and it took them 9 months to plug it. Mexico refused to pay restitution for that one.
