Edited on Thu May-13-10 07:27 AM by Atman
They always show a "LIVE" bug at the top of the screen when they're, well, broadcasting live. But today, whenever Joe and Mika are on, the bug goes away and only returns when they go back to Willie or the weather guy. Wussup with that?

(BTW, please spare us the obligatory "why do you watch that shit?" responses from the self-proclaimed illuminati. They serve no purpose...I consider the show to be video elavator music while getting ready for work.)

2. Damn.,..My Teevee Is Broken...
Somehow it doesn't pick up MSNBC until after 4pm...depending on what types of meds Tweety's on. Otherwise it's strictly white noise to me.

6. I would only say that if the OP were complaining about how awful Joe and Mika are.
Actually, even then I wouldn't bother any more.

5. Wow, I didn't notice. If you are right, the show did a marvelous job of appearing "seamless."
They gave the impression that it was all live. I did notice that bit about Mika not doing the news, but letting Willie do it instead. I thought it was just schtick, but now I see how it could be to cover the fact that the M and J portions were pre-recorded...

I did enjoy seeing and listening to Brian Schweitzer, gov. of Montana. An interesting conversation with him and Brokaw, too.

I've been interested in Schweitzer since Al Franken had him on his radio show about 4 years ago.

I didn't realize that Montana is one of two states in the country that is running a surplus!

7. Mika and Joe are broadcasting/perhaps taping from Los Angeles
which would be 3:00 a.m. on the East Coast. I think they taped and then left openings for Willie to come in with the news. Why they are there is a good question..
