2. Sestak or Toomey. The benefit of finally getting rid of Magic Bullet Boy outweighs any
other consideration in this race.

For if Spectre wins, the party will take it as another sign that they can abandon real Democrats and true Democratic principles to cater to the enemy across the aisle.

I don't care what letter the POS has after his name - he cannot be trusted and should not be rewarded after decades of support for the GOP agenda.

14. Thanks for posting that ad. I was looking for it online. I like the use of red for Specter
and blue for Sestak in the chart. That is a dynamite ad.

7. I hope so, too. The only regret being that the wingnuts would have a field day
attacking Obama/Biden because "their candidate" lost. It infuriates me that Obama got involved in this race. In fact, it's disgusting!! The M$M's meme is that Obama has no coattails, as if this particular midterm election is some kind of aberration. Presidents of BOTH parties lose seats in off-year elections. Obama is no different. However, his mistake is sticking his nose into matters of local politics. If Specter loses, then what? The party establishment needs to keep out of local politics, particularly during the primary season. After the primaries, support the party candidate. During the primaries? Butt out!! (Or, at the very least, support the true Democrat!)

11. And hopefully that will teach Obama that he serves the people and not corporate elites!
Edited on Thu May-13-10 09:54 AM by cascadiance
It sounds like Obama might have to learn the hard way, if he's willing to learn at all. And if he doesn't, perhaps that helps open the door for someone like Dean and/or Sanders to run in 2012 and really represent the people, and then perhaps we can finally start tearing down the corporatocracy. The Dems should have already learned this lesson with some of their f'd up support for Lieberman over Lamont, but apparently many still haven't.

13. We can "hope," but I'm not holding my breath.
I think it is up to us to deliver the message, now and once again in 2012.

No more DINO bullshit.

10. Same here freddie..
"scratch-my-back" endorsements don't tickle my fancy. Unfortunately I really don't think enough people have paid attention and may pull the lever on the known "name"... ughhh
