I'm not necessarily about seeing a third party but would definitely like to see the end of only two roads. A progressive agenda is the healthiest direction for the citizenry to go, as capitalism has proved too full of temptation as a system to be trusted with the task of servicing the needs of an independent society in any structural sense. At this point, much to the chagrin of the PTB, I believe, (maybe it's just hope) widespread understanding of that is on the swell. If neither party is prepared to see to a justifiably impatient people's business, they might consider poking holes in the ranks on both sides. I don't think anybody topside wants to deal with a stream of new blood. I would really like to see the end of left or right, if we don't learn how to move forward, we run the risk of not being, period. Events in the gulf suggest that ship may have sailed. It was one thing for some to be greedy, but for an abundant and supportive acceptance of that kind of behavior, we're about to see what it is to truly pay.
Numbers can be made to send whatever message you want, great conversation pieces, but rarely an accurate reflection of public sentiment. New media is out there for the making, the masses need to be ABLE to trust it, mold it with that in mind and it'll be hard to go wrong.
