Is Marcy Winograd Being Censored by Fox11 in LA????

I have a confession to make. I watch GDLA (Good Day LA) on Fox11 with Steve Edwards, Dorothy Lucey & Jillian Reynolds. Yes, guilty as charged I watch a Fox networks channel - don't tell my friend Jon Stewart - he will never talk to me again!

Over the last couple of months, GDLA has had every conceivable political candidate running in the California June 8th primary. Candidates from State Assembly seats, State Senate seat, Senator Boxer primary challengers - every candidate to dog catcher! And at the end of each candidate segment, Steve Edwards ends with "and we welcome all candidates running in the June 8th primary on GDLA".

Imagine my surprise when I pitched to GDLA to have Marcy Winograd, a progressive democratic non-corporate funded Congressional candidate running to unseat 8 term Blue Dog Jane Harman, to appear with Steve, Dorothy & Jillian and I got the following response

The producers of GDLA have decided to PASS on having Marcy Winograd on GDLA!"

To which I replied "is there some sort of censorship going on here when you not have a progressive democratic candidate on?

Following with my quick pitch: All political pundits are watching the 2010 primary races and the consistent commentary is "polarization and it's an anti-incumbent environment". We have a democratic Congressional primary race happening in CA36 that embodies all these ingredients. That is the Winograd vs Harman race and GDLA should have Marcy on!"

What do you think?? I start my mornings with Steve, Jillian & Dorothy! I believed Steve Edwards when I hear his voice resonating from my TV in my bedroom "and GDLA welcomes all political candidates for the June primary on!"

I guess I should not be too surprised if Fox11 is censoring - it is Fox News - or does incumbent blue dog Jane Harman's media reach extend to local Fox news - but I believed Steve Edwards!

I mean really represents us!! I believe Harman is the wealthiest congressperson in the house, strongly supports war, helped Bush take the 04 election, by making a deal with the AG. (Harman was being investigated by the FBI for her ties and possible trading of political favors with Israeli spies. the Bush WH agreed to stop the FBI investigation if she would tell the New York Times NOT to publish their story about the illegal spying on all of us. She did. the New York Times did.

Winograd is honest, dedicated, incorruptible, kind, strong, extremely wise and her roots are with the people she will soon represent.
