And the improvement came immediately - no sooner did the payment go in and they all disappeared . . . skinner's on the ball.

I wasn't interested in the first prize, but if I like the third prize, I'll make another small donation!

Just to keep myself humble, I sometimes sign out of DU just to see what the non-donors have to put up with. When they'll take as little as five bucks (actually four bucks plus the $1 processing fee), I don't know why anyone would put up with it!

I ran over to PayPal right away.

Do you think they put up the most annoying ads possible? It was like chasing cockroaches, trying to move somewhere fast enough to make it stop!

I'm glad they did it though. I can take DU for granted and it's absolutely reasonable for me to be expected to contribute something. It's my first source of news--more than tv, local paper, other sites, period. Just wish I could donate more.
