Funny PA election story:

So I have this long-retired, politically-connected judge who was, in his day, a real hot-shot here in Philly. One of these crusty-but-fundamentally-benign fellows. He came in this morning and, since you never ever know, I tentatively asked him what he thought of the election here yesterday. His reply:

"Good! That dope should have retired years ago...pretending he's just as sharp as he was when he started all this...I'm his age and knew when it was time to stop pretending that I was as quick-on-the-draw as I used to be."

I laughed out loud.
