THE Polictical Advertisement for 2010
DNC, take notice...

First start off with prominent Republicans praising (Ayn)Rand Paul. There are multiple clips. You can fill 25 seconds of an ad with all of that easily. There are multiple times both before and after Paul won his primary of proiminent Republicans praising him.

Then the last bit is just this much from last night:

"MADDOW: Do you think that a private business has the right to say we don't serve black people?

PAUL: Yes."

Voiceover: Do you want to hand the reins of power back to these people?

Can you say landslide?

1. Sad to say
Here in Louisiana that would add 20% to Rand Paul's vote:banghead:

2. Maybe some Democratic candidates will take a lesson from Joe Sestak in terms of ads.
The one with Spectre snidely sneering "...so I can be re-eeeeeee-lecccccted" was an absolute killer. And they ran it more than any other one (it seemed).

Take a winning message and hammer it home constantly.

3. But Does This Dog Hunt In Kentucky???
How many voters in that state are black? Or disabled? Or Hispanic? Or any minority that isn't white male.

Remember, this isn't a national election but a local one and successful candidates (as we saw on Tuesday) speak to those who hold the votes, not to the national "establishment" or corporate media. This is epecially the case in primaries. Let's see where the first polls from the KY Senate race settle to tell us how effective Paulbot Jr.'s tactic of pandering to the racists works. If it does, watch others pick up on the same or similar talking points.

4. Doesn't matter. Rand Paul has already made the KY Senate race national
It stopped being a local race during the primary.

Now's the time to stick it to the bastards.
