21. I checked out the thread posted by bluebear. Yes, the word "illegal" should not be
directed at people. I used to cringe when it's coupled with the word "alien" like they're not from this planet. Understood.

25. Exactly. And I include the word "illegitimate" along with
"illegal" as words that should never be directed at people, especially children. I wasn't married when my son was born and absolutely hated hearing him referred to as an "illegitimate child", which would happen on occasion. It used to even be codified in the law as an acceptable term. Fortunately, most states have eliminated it in their family and probate codes, but not all. There is no such thing as a "legitimate" or "illegitimate" child and such terminology makes me sick.
