NJ Gov Christie vetoes millionaire tax bill passed by state Dems
Blah.

"While I have little doubt that the sponsors and supporters of this bill sincerely believe that the state can tax its way out of this financial crisis, I believe that this bill does nothing more than repeat the failed, irresponsible and unsustainable fiscal policies of the past," wrote Christie in his veto statement. "Now is not the time for more of the same. Ultimately, another tax increase will punish the state’s struggling small businesses and set our economy further back from recovery."

Apparently, "struggling small businesses" = millionaires.

2. That bill takes 850M out of NJ budget and
it was the same amount he cut from education to make up for it. So we see where republicans are going. Dumb the people down and give the money to the rich. But this is what NJ voters pulled the lever for so they are getting what they deserve. The knew he was going to do this. His actions and what he had said all thru his career left no doubt.
