USAA members: Beware phishing scam!

I received an email today that is most definitely a phishing scam. The subject reads "USAA members should logon or register" and it was sent from "service@intl.usaa.com". The message says something about your account being accessed by an unauthorized computer.

DO NOT click on the link. Report it to CERT <soc@us-cert.gov> immediately.

The link takes you to a phishing page that prompts for your user name, password, and PIN and then to a security questionnaire that asks for your CC number. I typed in totally bogus user names, passwords, and PINs and it always led to the phishing page.

Please share with other USAA members and always report phishing scams to CERT!!!

best website access systems (multiple level of protections) that I've seen and hopefully would have gone directly to their site, upon seeing the email. But had I been in a real hurry, I might have clicked on the email.

And I have to say I'm kinda smitten with the "deposit a check with an iPhone picture" thing. I thought it was gimmicky, but you can't beat it when you can't wait in line at the bank.
