6. Hasn't he been indicted yet?
Surely he has done something wrong?

He and Rush should be sentenced to living together on a desert island forever!

9. Because elections never end these days. They are treated like quarters in a game
Edited on Mon May-24-10 11:16 PM by SoCalDem
and as if there is always still a chance that the "other guy" could rally somehow and "win the game".

There was a time when, after an election, the losing side went away and licked their wounds, and prepped for the next election. Dems still ascribe to this practice for the most part. We did not see Clinton or Al Gore running to every microphone, or writing critiques of GerogiePorgie, did we?

republicans ruled for long enough that they came to see themselves as the "default", and any dem who
"snuck in" was somehow, an aberration, and deserving of constant harassment, lest he get re-elected.

The press loves a "fight", even if they have to manufacture one, so of course, if the repubs are willing to "play", the press will oblige them and call on the out-of-power repubs to put in their 2cents at every possible opportunity.
