Dick Cheney's disappearances are like:

The cockroach that hides during the day and then comes out at night when the lights are off.

The strange noise in your car engine that goes away when you get to the auto mechanic.

The dog that leaves a big messy poop on your rug and then hides under the bed.

Care to add to the list or speculate on when he might grace us with his presence again?

He doesn't ever talk about the oil corporations because that's really close to the vest. But if he has a chance to come out and stir the fear regarding national security and terrorists he pops right up or sends his puppet daughter to the talk shows.

He's predictable. Deep silence on all things criminal that have to do with Halliburton, but banshee bleeting on anything even remotely connected to his favorite whipping post, terrorism and the illegal torture and pursuit of the perpetrators.
