4. Excellent answer about his offshore drilling comments.
At the end of the day, you have to trust that the "experts" (i.e. BP) know what they are doing. But Obama got burned doing that, and he admits it. But that does not mean it will be business as usual here on out.

it's tough for me to criticize his approach.

When I hear him talk like this, it just reminds me of how I think about issues. It gets him into trouble a lot though.

Just asking ~ after Bush, a Kgn. child could do better.

President Obama is light years ahead IMO.

The difference is that GW had the media with him all the way ~ Obama has just the opposite.

He has far more obstacles, and yet he's still been able to do so much. That his approval rating hovers around 50% is nothing short of miraculous considering the problems we face. I think that's due to his honesty, his sense of priority, and his ability to communicate.

There have been signs available that there is trouble out - why say you
have to rely on 'experts' thatmake you look like a victim that you aren't?

Obama is no victim here, he wasn't hoodwinked, bamboozeled or had by
BP or any energy company.

If he doesn't 'know' it's his fault - he's the Top Dog not BP.
It's his job to act like it in advance.

and the AZ law

Obama: "I don't agree with the AZ law." Favors rehabilitating illegals into US citizens. "National Guard can help with intelligence, relieve border guards, drug law enforcements. We also have money for prosecutors. I don't see issues in isolation...there are other solutions, too." Hopes GOP will work with him, even just 1/4 of the way.

exceptions, most recently on The Ed Show just two days ago. But they will compeletly ignore what Pres. Obama said. Hell, they already are. I mean, look at them. Not a single talking head on TV right now is talking about it and it should be the MOST IMPORTANT thing the president said today.

Fuck that.

Just what the hell do they want Obama to do? I think he answered everyone's questions to the best of his ability, and didn't end it until he was sure everything was covered.

If this were Bush, this would have ended about 45 minutes ago, and we'd be no more informed than we were at the start.
