2. "what does that mean for holding BP acccountable?"
He hasn't held the liars who got us into two needless wars accountable.

I assume he didn't come from the war criminal industry. But he still won't do the job the way it needs to be done.

3. He worked for the law firm Covington & Burlington
That firm represented numerous notorious corporate clients such as Halliburton, Phillip Morris and Chiquita.

However, from all I can see, Mr. Holder has never worked directly for an oil company.

I could be wrong.

4. Somebody on Ed Schultz show today described Holder
as a "silk stocking, Armani suit wearing, corporate lawyer who made his name defending corporations". He went on to say Holder was cozy with the oil industry- I can't find evidence of it so far...although defending Haliburton is halfway there.

Ixtoc I is the worst oil spill to date and the second biggest in the history of all oil spills.

EDIT ADD: Nevermind. My math sucks. That chart is just a bold-faced lie.

17. Holder
I doubt he got to be AG by busting the balls of the polluters, and other Cheney's.

No, he got where he is by being a 'team' player.

BP fears not the Holder. But BP did piss on Obama. So, there's hope.

18. No.
Spent almost his entire life in public service. Briefly left for a stint at a major law firm that also had client in the oil industry, although Holder was not involved in any such case.

"And if so, what does that mean for holding BP acccountable?"

Nothing. If anybody should be held accountable, it should be people spreading this RW smear.
