5. Mud or "mud"... ???
BP has shown to be notorious for painting a pretty picture. No problems here folks, move along...

I wouldn't be surprised to hear, come Tuesday, that there is oil and gasses mixed in with this mud and it's coming out an even faster pace.

Just because BP and MSM say they've stopped the leak (or do they call it a spill still?) does not mean that it's stopped...

4. EPA could apparently not stand up to BP on the dispersants
BP probably threw out some techno babble to confuse the process... and some legalize and threats.

7. The yellow is "mud", the brown is mud/oil mixture.
From what specialists are saying at The Oil Drum http://www.theoildrum.com/node/6520, Top Kill has already failed. Too much mud is being diverted down the riser. The BOP is showing new cracks. It seems as if a junk shot was performed in order to close up some of the holes. Some are saying that this was all window dressing--a top kill has never been successful in a situation with open pipes and leaking cracks and was not likely to succeed.

I was hopeful yesterday--I really thought it was going to be solved--but now after reading so many drillers and production folks' posts, I'm not taking media reports too seriously anymore. Much of it is propaganda for BP.
