2. Yes, he is being very technical
the ground fracture at times is somewhat extensive... I keep recommending people read on what happened during the Ixtoc I mess. Not as deep, but the time line will help people to understand what is going on...

8. I'm not sure why a president being on television merits three exclamation points.
I mean, unless he just yelled THIS IS AMERICA and kicked the chair of BP down a giant bottomless hole somebody left laying around or something, in which case three exclamation points would be just about right.
