Rick Sanchez on CNN is ticked. He's talking, right now, about how there was a sixteen-hour break in the Top Kill procedure. Mud was not being pumped during this sixteen hours yesterday.
However, Sanchez reported yesterday between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., on his CNN program, that the pumping was happening and the Top Kill procedure was happening. He had the video of it running behind him!
Turns out, nothing was being pumped. The procedure had stopped. However, that's not what BP was reporting. Sanchez cut to a shot of a BP spokesperson who repeatedly said, yesterday afternoon, that mud was being pumped in.
It was not.
I'm sick of the lies. I'm disgusted that BP is putting on a show for us and only trying to control information and cover up the truth.
I'm also intrigued. Sanchez showed the life feed of the oil leak yesterday. It showed mud flowing. We all watched that live feed, hoping to see some sign that Top Kill was working. So, if the mud pumping was halted for sixteen hours, what was that video of? What exactly WERE we watching?
Any chance that BP is providing misleading, or even fake footage? How could we be watching mud flowing, when the mud flow had stopped for sixteen hours?
Can someone explain all of this? I am not an engineer. I'm just trying to understand and so many things don't add up.
