What's happening on the oil spill cam?

It's like it suddenly got worse. The plumes are now occasionally obscuring everything.

6. I don't think so.
When you can see, it appears that everything is still intact.

It's almost like it's in a loop. I get the impression that I'm seeing the same things repeating over and over.

2. I hope they don't crack the Earth. Looks real powerful pressure,
with some of those fumes very dark. Looks like too much stuff coming up for a seal.

Some of the activities of the ROVs this morning looked to shelburn @ Oil Drum as preparations for the saw.

The plan is to cut the riser whether or not top kill was a success. They would either install a second BoP if a success or top hat 2 if a failure. Either plan requires the riser pipe to be cut.

9. There is a hard to read date and time
at the lower right. It is CST and runs a minute or 2 behind actual time I think. So right now for instance it appears to read 16:56:XX

13. It almost looks like the top of the BOP is disintegrating

They haven't shown the riser pipe since they started their TopKill/JunkShot routines per the CamJunkies who are watching this around the clock. I would love to see what is going on over in that section of the area.
