Nothing new for the wretch, of course. What has stirred the matter up today is that he wants a law to bar children of people here without papers from being citizens. Of course, no law can contravene the Constitution, but the invincible ignorance of this creature shines above all other qualities in him. He says he knows of no other country that allows this, though the fact is that several dozen do. It is pretty clear he simply objects to the complexion of some of the children in question. And once people are allowed to start monkeying around with that Amendment, where will it stop?
