Seen this evening in a Taco Bell parking lot:
A 1980-something Plymouth Voyager with a Nixon/Agnew bumper sticker in the back window. Now, I know it's a political statement, but I'm unsure what that statement might be. It was a true "wait...what?" moment for me today. Whatever could it mean?

Inside the Taco Bell, it was unclear which of the people at the three occupied tables was the owner of this mini-van. MineralMan is very confused...

And no, you may not ask what I was doing at Taco Bell.

8. You may not ask. I already said that...

Of course, I was there for a cheap meal. With my senior discount, the total was $6.87. Three crunchy tacos, two bean burritos, and two crunchy tacos supreme.

You eat at Taco Bell. I know you do. Bwahaha!

13. Maybe once or twice when I was experimenting in my youth
If I want cheap & easy Mexican now I go to Chipotle.

If I want a really good taco I go to the Bad Bean Taqueria; but it's a hell of a long drive since it's in Corolla.

2. Might have come with the car
I still have one (Proud to be an American) on my mini-van. When mom died I had the car, then my nephew, then he gave it to me.

4. No...the car is far too recent for it to be an original sticker.
It is a political statement, but what's the statement?

In the restaurant was a lesbian couple, a couple in their late 60s, and a Spanish-speaking family.

5. I had a truck with "Ain't God Great?" lettering on the back left bumper...

...I'm atheist, but I just couldn't take it off. Though I *really* wanted to put "Well Ain't She?" on the right side.

I don't think they're very good for you, even with the lettuce and tomato and the guacamole on the side...

I'm pretty sure there's crack in those tacos.

6. Actually the last time I was in a Taco Bell
(To get a cup with code of a star trek game for hubby) I actually had a VERY interesting conversation with an older gentleman... we ranged all over the country side, and we ended up talking for over five hours.

So I wish you had that kind of an experience.

I hope you enjoyed whatever you got... I know the food was far from spectacular.

Think about the dates. Very strange stuff. Where do you even get a Nixon/Agnew bumper sticker, anyhow?

23. Yeah that's right would be at least 5-10 years
past Nixon. Those repugs have a way of keeping those stickers forever and keeping them looking new. I still see Raygun stickers on cars and they look new! :wow:
