I didn't watch the debate -- but I did watch a clip from someone who had

a focus group in NH that is posted here in vids (couldn't bring myself to watch any of the debate clips yet).

The room overwhelmingly was pro-Obama after the debate. With a show of hands, a lot of people were supporting Clinton before the debate began, but it seems apparent she "lost" big time.

Is that your take on it?

What was the getting angry bit about?

Hats off of to those of you who had the strength to watch. I was getting pissed just reading the thread here.

Obama seemed nervous.

Edwards said his same exact spiel - btw - did you know his dad worked in a mill?

And Richardson told everyone his resume'.

The debate was actually not too bad. They were seated at a long conference table, and it was more of a discussion than in the past.
Hillary and Obama got the most time. Edwards the next, and Richardson the very least. no surprise.

Biden would have kicked everyone's butt tonite. Alot of foreign policy and dialogue. sigh...

5. Obama does so poorly in these debates

His inexperience tends to be magnified when he is presented with real issues. He is like a different person when compared to his stump speeches and personal interviews.

6. It's one thing when he is giving a pep rally and another thing when he is forced to

talk about issues.

I don't know if I will ever be able to support any of them.

I like Obama's passion, and I believe he is an intelligent man. But he's clueless.
Hillary is the most experienced out of the three stooges, and she would probably be a great Prez, but I can't past Kyl/Lieberman or the dynasty thing.
And the other one, I just don't trust.

I will vote for Biden in the primaries, and vote for the nominee in the GE.

7. I got my sample ballot and Biden's name is on it

so that's who I'm voting for. Like you, I'll vote for the nominee in the general.

I agree that Obama is probably very intelligent but he looks like the freshman at a senior debate, and appears a bit intimidated.
