This didn't really add anything new and I actually think I've seen quotes from it elsewhere (here?) but wanted to put link here for your reading pleasure.

1. I think I quoted that article this morning
I liked his answer about the senate having a right to "propose" a new plan for Iraq and I got some crap for it from a couple of posters.

out those people.

Sometimes I feel as though they're hovering -- like vultures -- waiting for the opportunity to swoop down and ATTACK!

I posted a lame poll and instead of being called on what a lame poll it was, got grief for my lack of clarity in the OP, my lack of historical facts (both accurate, I should point out). It was just ridiculous.
I'm kicking myself because I responded angrily instead of just saying ' you think THIS one is bad, you should have seen my first attempt".

Where is Rodney King when you need him?

EDIT to add I fully expect Biden's friendship with Helms to be touted as PROOF that he (Biden) is vile and a racist and whatever else.
Children, children, just play nice

3. Guess we're going to have to get used to it
As long as Biden's name is out there, there will be people who pounce. They do it with other candidates as well, but generally ignore anyone who isn't viable as a candidate. So in that sense it is a good thing.

The best way to handle vultures is not to feed them!

4. My Republican brother in SC is thinking of voting for Biden in the primaries.
Last time out, as I remember, John Edwards won SC with a lot of Republican cross-over votes.

When you compare their Senate voting records, Biden is a heck of a lot more progressive than Edwards ever was.
