I'm gonna ask this...re: N-whora O'Donnell's mention of Joe
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 11:20 AM by 48percenter
Nora is on MSNBC talking about Joe getting 12% in Iowa. Does anyone think, or is anyone asking themselves if perhaps Joe and maybe Dodd bowed out so Clinton could benefit from them leaving the race?

N-whora keeps going on about the fact that Clinton "benefited from Biden dropping out of the race."

I have to wonder, could we see a Clinton/Biden ticket?

Just throwing it out there...

1. No, I don't think that's why they bowed out. I think they both quit too soon.
They should have waited until NH was over.

As far as Biden working for Clinton as VP or anything else, I don't see it.
Why? Because Biden is his own man - and you can be sure if Hillary was Prez and she needed someone to go the the Middle East, you can be sure that she will send Bill. They know him, they like him. Biden would play second fiddle to Bill, and I can't see that at all. Can you?

2. I don't think so.
Joe said early on that to be Clinton's Vice President would simply be ceremonial because of Bill and that he could get more done as Chairman of the SFRC.

3. I can't see it
It might serve Hillary, but Joe would be overshadowed and ineffectual. I think Joe really didn't have enough money to go on.

5. I'm in agreement with the consensus -- I don't see Joe bowing out for anybody.
I think he was in it to win.
