These days i am terse and short tempered.
I have almost no patience for stupid people. Edwards supporters who cannot remember their THREE digit precinct number... or the Hillary folk who label me uninformed as to her "Experience" and her going to "Change" things. or Obama kids that never realized their was someone else running for president.

JESUS CHRIST GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!!

I won't even get started on the retards who call in to tell me how much "Dems" have ruined our country. everything associated with scandal and mismanagement among the rethugs is of course us DEMS fault...

ok end rant :argh:

1. Feel better now?
We all need a good rant now and then, especially when dealing with the politically-challenged.

3. Polictically challenged...
I like that. May I use it as I also seem to be running into too many people you fit this description?

And yes, it's amazing how many people are in favor of their candidates based on ignorance of the others.

4. A periodic visit to GDP
is an apt reminder that most people don't have clue what they're talking about! We can't blame Bush for all our problems. Gullible, impressionable people are everywhere and they vote.

13. You're right. In fact, they are the biggest problem.
That's how Bumble Butt got into office. I think we're officially dumbed down.

6. Scarier are the morons who like Mike
I have a bad feeling about him if he gets the nom on the GOOPers side. I just talked to a friend in VA, and she loves :loveya: him. (She's probably a Repube or Indy, she hates Hillary, but I think she is open to Obama & Edwards?)

:yoiks:

7. That is one scary guy
He comes across as so likable until you actually listen to what he is saying. What is even scarier are the people who support him, but then look at how many people voted for Bush! I'm beginning to doubt evolution when it comes our species.

8. Did you see Real Time w/ Bill Maher this weekend?
He does a great segment on Huckabee.
They sent a gay reporter to SC to find his supporters. It is hysterical.

15. He was so annoying and clueless
It seems that almost every conservative guest they have on tries to dominate the show. Snow had this paternalistic, condescending attitude as if liberals were just uninformed children.

11. The comfort might be quite marginal, but you're definitely not alone.
I'm trying not to pay any attention to the news, but I'm not very good at it. I'll keep the effort up. All the candidates are sounding alike. The economy is going down the proverbial tubes, Bush is waxing stupid on a stimulus package that may prop up our crippled economy just long enough to get him out of office and off his legacy. The Repubs are hemming and hawing while the Democrats say Bush is wrong then offer the same thing with a few variations. Yesterday Hillary was complaining about Bush's offering saying that there wasn't enough for African Americans and Latinos (or whatever term is polling the highest meaning people of Spanish descent). I'm going to start calling her the Pander Bear. We've got a 9 trillion dollar debt that no one is acknowledging in any meaningful way. Did they buy Cheney's statement that deficits don't matter? No president or aspiring president wants to be the one to deal with it because they won't get any credit for it reflected in their ever precious legacy. And aren't we still in Iraq? These candidates seem to have forgotten that. Ok, enough. End of my rant.

14. I hate to admit it, but I am taking a break by following the Britney saga
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 04:43 AM by ribrepin
and watching Celebrity rehab with Doctor Drew. I can't stand to watch the democrats lacerate each other. Some guy on with Tweety today was practically peeing his pants at the thought of Obama and Hillary going at it. It's kinda like watching your friends have a fist fight.

I've said since 2004 that if the democrats nominate Hillary, they want to lose the election and let the repubs take the heat for the economy and the war. My only hope is that the democrats keep control of congress.

Down with political dynasties.

P.S. Maybe Hillary can ask Joe Lieberman to be her vice president...I am a bitter woman right now.

16. Lets hope that the Dems pick up more seats in congress
That is the only way we can bring about real change regardless of who ends up in the WH.
