7. I thought Edwards was outstanding. He slapped Hill down good
a couple of times and let Obama know who the boss was. It was awesome..

11. Well, that was the most lively debate I've seen so far!!!
It was really testy at the beginning, but there were some good moments.....I think, my head is still spinning.

13. I watched it
The first part was bad. Clinton and Obama were acting like a couple of kids on the playground. Edwards took the high road, and was much more believable. They are all well-spoke, but which one of these candidates can go head to head with the Repube nominee?

Having said that, and I am really thinking about this, deeply -- Edwards is always bragging about his experience, etc. Please enlighten me, what has he done for the past 4 years since 2004, after he was a one term senator (voted for IWR, etc.) Seriously? I think this is why he is not gaining ground. He would have had more cred if he had run for another public office.

For the same reasons, I think Obama has the same problem, he doesn't have much experience either, but more than Edwards(legislatively speaking). To me, he is still an unknown quantity.

As much as she grates on my nerves sometimes, and as much as I don't want to see the Clintons drag their personal shit and their spin machine back into the White House, I am starting to think Hillary is the most qualified person to do the job.

It's taken me a long time to get to this point, and I've made many detours along the way. What I am saying is, I am voting my conscience with Biden in my primary, but I will vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination. I'm not about to let the CONS infest the White House for another 4-8 years.

:hi:

14. That is pretty much where I am at
John Edwards was the most persuasive last night and it was his best debate performance so far, but part of that was in comparison to Clinton and Obama's snark-fest. I don't see any real experience there. The last few years he has spent running for president. He was a one-term senator with no political experience prior or after. If someone plans to run for president, it seems he/she should have to do the some of the hard work of serving in government for more than one term (much of which was used running for president and then VP).

With Edwards his "message" just isn't enough. Informed voters don't see any credentials there and those who vote with their hearts often do not really trust him instinctively.

Obama has more experience, but he might have been better off running for governor in Illinois or waiting until his 2nd term in the senate to start a presidential run. Meanwhile, he panders too much to certain groups and ends up alienating others which contradicts his "uniter" message.

Of the three, I would prefer that Hillary got the nomination. She appears to be more competent and prepared. In the primary, I still will vote for Biden as well.

At least I am thankful that I get to vote for Joe in the primary from abroad.
